Dive into the rich heritage and vibrant culture of Virginia's state parks on History and Culture Day! Join us at Holliday Lake State Park for an evening filled with exploration, learning, and appreciation of our park's diverse history.

This ranger-led paddle will take you around Holliday Lake, stopping at some of our more notable features all while enjoying a magnificent sunset and listening for nocturnal wildlife. All equipment will be provided, and the program is suitable for ages 6 and up.

Boats are limited and attendees must register in advance at the Park Office or by calling (434) 248-6308. The $10 per person program fee must be paid during registration.

Please bring plenty of water, snacks, and bug spray; wear close-toed shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty and/or wet; and arrive 15 minutes early. This event is subject to cancellation due to inclement weather.
