June 15, 2025. 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

Looking for a unique way to celebrate Father's Day? Bring your dad, your kiddo, or just yourself for a feel-good morning of giving back. We will be hosting a post-festival park cleanup focusing on the beach. We'll provide all the supplies, and maybe even a dad joke or two. Bonus: You'll earn some serious feel-good points and make a difference together.

Each month, volunteers of all ages and skill levels are welcome to work together on a project that helps improve and maintain our beautiful park. Projects vary each month and may include tasks like trail maintenance, park beautification, litter cleanup, or special volunteer projects. This is a great opportunity to get outside, meet new people, and give back to the park you love.

Please bring sunscreen, wear closed-toe shoes, and don't forget some water. Together we can make a real difference at Claytor Lake State Park. Please email Hannah.Wetzel@dcr.virginia.gov if you have any questions.

The parking fee is waived for all volunteers.
