Come on out to Chippokes State Park and discover what is left of a forgotten historic roadway on this ranger-led First Day Hike. Learn about historic transportation routes, the area's first inhabitants, speculation and myths of the road, and natural history.  This trail takes visitors from rolling farm fields into canopied woodlands, up and down inclines, and to a worthwhile scenic view of the beautiful salt marshes of Chippokes.  Parking is available at the Chipoax Trail Trailhead along Chippokes Farm Road.
