DCR is looking for talented people to fill positions listed below. Unless stated otherwise, you must complete and submit an electronic state application by the job announcement's close date.
Generally applications must be made through the RMS (electronic state application). We will, however, accept paper applications for some state park slots. Be sure to refer to the individual recruitment for specific requirements.
Certain positions require a criminal background check, a conflict of interest financial statement or both. Law-enforcement positions require a fingerprint-based FBI investigation. DCR is an EEO/AA/ADA Employer.

Hiring Ranger- $12.85 per hour
Boathouse attendants are responsible for the daily operation of the boat dock, including but not limited to providing excellent customer service, answering questions about the park (including fishing information), operating the point of sale system, completing cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently to include providing correct change as applicable, complete opening/closing tasks as assigned, instruct customers about the operation of park-owned paddle craft in a safe manner, ensure all customers leave wearing properly fitted PFDs, keeping boathouse and marina area clean and organized, ensure all boats and facilities are properly locked and secured before leaving, infrequently patrol lake to ensure park-owned boats are being operated in compliance with the rules and regulations. Performs, as the occasion requires, any additional duties requested by his/her supervisors.
