Job Duties:
This position assists Dam Safety Engineers in providing regulatory reviews, support, and assistance to dam owners and consulting engineers using sound engineering principles to ensure compliance with regulations. This position, stationed in Richmond, Virginia, will serve the Commonwealth Virginia. In the role, the selected candidate will:
The incumbent of this position may also staff an emergency operations center in Virginia during emergencies and will participate in dam-related emergency drills and exercises.

As a condition of employment, this position requires a current Engineer in Training (EIT) Designation or the ability to obtain an EIT Designation within one year of hire.
