Annual Virginia Flood Preparedness Coordination Meeting

The 2024 Annual Flood Preparedness Coordination Meeting took take place on Thursday, September 26, 2024. This meeting convenes representatives of state agencies and other key stakeholders responsible for advancing and coordinating the Commonwealth’s efforts and expenditures to increase flood resilience and preparedness. The 2024 meeting included updates regarding several ongoing state-led efforts addressing flood resilience, including a presentation to kick-off development of the Virginia Flood Protection Master Plan (VFPMP). Presentations were followed by a VFPMP working session with invited stakeholders.
