Coverage Limitations: Coverages may or may not be complete within National Forest ownership boundaries. Coverages are considered incomplete outside National Forest ownership boundaries. User Responsibilities: It is the responsibility of the data user to use the data appropriately and in accordance with the limitations of geospatial data in general and these data in particular. These data are not recommended to be used with data of scales larger than 1:24,000.

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service
This refuge boundary data is intended for planning purposes or use with other data layers in GIS and mapping applications. It is specifically not intended for use as a land survey or representation of land for conveyance or tax purposes. Refuge boundary data were compiled for resource applications. It is inappropriate to use these data in legal situations, or other applications where spatial error cannot exceed the USGS 7.5-minute mapping standards.
Virginia Outdoors Foundation easement and ownership boundaries are believed to be accurately delineated, but should not be confused with legal property boundaries. These boundaries were on-screen delineated (heads up digitized) using USGS digital raster graphics (DRG's), survey maps and deeds. VOF claims no responsibility for the accuracy of this data, or the use of this data by the recipient. This dataset is only as comprehensive as the last data update. Boundaries are updated bi-annually by VOF staff. Please update this dataset periodically with more complete and accurate data at the DCR Conservation Lands website.

• The substance of these conditions and limitations must be legibly conveyed if TNC property data are used in online maps.
